At Elevation, volunteering isn’t what we want from you, it’s what we want for you. Not what you have to do, but what you get to do. It’s simple. If you have an interest, you can count on us to help you find your ideal eTeam.
To volunteer with an eTeam, simply choose an eTeam below that interests you and sign up. Once you’ve chosen a team that interests you, you will be scheduled for Elevation 101. It includes a brief orientation to Elevation Church and the opportunity to shadow your eTeam. It's designed to assist you in finding your volunteering “sweet spot.” Next you'll commit to your volunteer opportunity. At Elevation, the initial commitment period to an eTeam is six months. Once you’ve volunteered in a role for six months, you may choose to continue in that role, try something different, or take a break from volunteering. Most of our volunteer teams are on a bi-weekly rotation. Your commitment will be based on your specific eTeam.
Our eTeams are organized into five main areas:
If you enjoy behind-the-scenes roles, this is the perfect fit for you. All central opportunities are during the week at the church office, helping staff with administrative tasks and projects as they arise.
If you enjoy assisting with operations, then Campus Support is for you. This group of eTeam members assists in the weekend operations of one of our locations, and ensure the location is running smoothly. Some roles include; connections (help others get connected to Elevation at the orange tent), eTeam Headquarters (provide refreshments to your fellow eTeam members) and security.
If you are passionate about seeing future generations raised to life in Christ, then eKidz is just the place for you! Roles range from behind-the-scenes opportunities to interacting directly with children and teaching them about Jesus.
If you love people, Guest Services is the place to be. As a Guest Services eTeam member, you have the opportunity to greet guests, help guests find their seats, or welcome first time guests. If praying is one of your spiritual gifts, you could join an on-campus Prayer Team.
If you like the thought of having hands-on responsibilities, Production is what you're looking for. Production eTeam members help create smooth-running Worship Experiences. Production offers both technical and non-technical opportunities. No experience is necessary.
