Welcome to the middle of a move of God.

So that people far from God will be raised to life in Christ. That was the vision of Elevation Church when it began in 2006 with a group of eight families led by Pastor Steven Furtick. Over the past seven years, that vision has remained the same as our church has grown to seven locations in the Charlotte, NC area with multiple extension sites around the U.S. and Canada.

We are a church fueled by great faith and we’ve seen God do things that only He can do – thousands of lives changed, marriages restored, families healed and hearts made whole. And as God continues to increase the size of our platform, we are aggressively pursuing opportunities to reach more and more people with the life-saving message of the Gospel in both our city and our world.

Through the use of preaching, worship, and creativity, we strive to present the timeless message of Jesus Christ in a clear and fresh way. And although our approach to church is anything but traditional, we believe in and maintain a conservative theological position.

Pastor Steven Furtick

Steven Furtick is the founder and lead pastor of Elevation Church. He is also the author of the nationally acclaimed Sun Stand Still and the New York Times® Best Selling follow-up book, Greater. Pastor Steven holds the Master of Divinity degree from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

He and his wife Holly live in the Charlotte area with their two sons, Elijah and Graham, and daughter, Abbey.

Elevation Worship

Elevation Worship is the sound of Elevation Church. This team of worship leaders leads our local church into the presence of God during every worship experience at all of our locations. Since 2008, our worship team has also written and recorded songs that reflect the journey of our church. These anthems capture the heart of our church as we celebrate God’s faithfulness and our gratitude for the work of Christ in our lives.

eKidz

eKidz is the family ministry of Elevation Church with a goal of engaging kids and empowering families. eKidz is offered for children 6 weeks to 5th grade, providing age-appropriate worship, Bible stories, and activities during our weekend worship experiences. We divide eKidz into three separate environments so that we can engage your child at their level: Safari (6 weeks-2 years), Quest (3 years-kindergarten), and Motion (1st-5th grade). eKidz is available at every Elevation location, allowing parents to enjoy a distraction-free worship experience.

Elevation Outreach

At Elevation Church we believe in outreach through partnership. Through Elevation Outreach, we work in partnership with non-profit organizations locally, nationally, & globally to feed the hungry, fight homelessness, empower children and families, respond to the needs of people in crisis, rescue victims of injustice, and lead a generation into a greater life of generosity and service. When you give to Elevation Church, 12% of your giving goes directly to support these partnerships.
