Adventures Of The StarKeepers is a family-focused podcast that tells exciting tales while helping kids learn about biblical topics, which are the same topics taught each weekend in the kids ministry at Elevation Church.
After every episode, there are questions to help parents have meaningful, faith-based conversations with their children.

Meet the characters

Dex
Starkeeper leader
Dex was out camping with his mom one day when a strange bracelet took him on an unforgettable adventure. He’s all about having fun and eating food, and yes, he might get a little scared sometimes, but he’s got a good heart and won’t hesitate to step into danger for his friends (but you can bet he’ll probably complain about it). No matter what, when you need a laugh or just someone back you up, he’ll be there.

River
Starkeeper Leader
At first, River seems like a strange girl from another world — but she used to be a commander in an elite force of protectors called the StarKeepers, who watch over an ancient and powerful artifact known as the Heart of the Universe. And oh yeah, speaking of universes, she’s from another universe. Loyal, wise, and steady, she’s the perfect balance to Dex’s wackiness and his dislike of all things that feel like work

Glacia
Starkeeper
She might not seem like the warmest person to be around (well, she DOES have ice powers after all), but once you get to know her, you’ll see that Glacia is someone you can always count on. She actually started off as a member of the somewhat-evil Shadow Squad, but she soon realized she was making the wrong choices. Now she’s a StarKeeper and uses her powers for good!

Leo
Starkeeper
Leo is always ready to take charge and get things done. He’s honest to a fault and can get pretty frustrated when his teammates act goofy or just want to have fun, but he has a good heart and is very dependable. And when things get dangerous, you’ll definitely want him on your side — his awesome fire powers can melt just about anything!

Bubbles
Starkeeper
Bubbles has just one question: Why is everyone so SERIOUS? Life is supposed to be fun, and there’s so much to do, and see, and smell and— Wait, was that a squirrel?! She has a very pure spirit and might be a little spacy sometimes, but her genuine affection for her teammates and upbeat personality are hard to resist. Besides, have you ever seen someone make a water elephant? Bubbles can with her amazing water powers!

Tank
Starkeeper
Peace is good, stress is bad. That means Tank doesn’t want to hear any arguing between his teammates, and he might step in to help everyone chill out. He’s extremely loyal and a good listener, and when things get super-crazy, he’s the chillest person in the room. It’s no surprise then that he can literally turn into a rock giant if the situation needs a little… help… to become peaceful.

Flash
Starkeeper
The youngest StarKeeper just might be the most powerful. He’s cute and cuddly, sure, but do NOT set him off. He can’t guarantee he’ll be able to control his incredible lightning powers. So maybe he’s anxious, and maybe he doesn’t deal with danger very well, but even when things get tough, he’ll stand up for his friends and do what’s necessary.

Professor Simone Rattiform
Dangerous. Super smart. Crafty. These words… kind of describe Professor Rattiform. Don’t underestimate her, because she’s definitely into dominating the universe and turning everyone into robots, but whether or not she’ll ever have the perfect plan to make that happen is way less certain. (She kind of sets herself up for failure. Like, a lot.) She used to be in charge of the StarKeepers before betraying them in an attempt to steal and use the Heart of the Universe, which the StarKeepers are sworn to protect.

Nova
The smart artificial intelligence who resides in the Sanctuary of the Heart and gives advice to our heroes. She’s been around for a loooooong time, and she helped Dex and River rebuild the StarKeepers by locating planets with StarKeeper energy on them.

Hollywood
At first glance, you might think he’s just a big bodybuilder dude. At second glance, you’ll start to wonder if he’s actually a robot. The third glance is what’ll get you — there’s actually a little critter inside that big body! That small creature is the REAL Hollywood, but the big android body is everything he desperately wants to be: good-looking, big and strong, and part of the cool crowd (and there might also be some lasers and other cool tools and tricks in that body).

Tutu (Supreme Princess Tutu)
She loves cartoons, cookies, unicorns, video games, and all the sweet kiddie stuff — and she just might destroy you if you don’t let her have them. Her screams can topple buildings, her foot stomps can cause earthquakes, and her tears can melt metal. Just do what she wants and everything will be fine. Probably.

Nebulos
This dark titan wants the Heart of the Universe. It’s the light to his shadow, and if he can destroy it, he can rule everyone and everything. Capable of destroying whole moons in the blink of an eye, no one really knows exactly how powerful he is (and no one really wants to find out, either).

Strider
He used to be a carefree and clumsy StarKeeper years ago, but when Rattiform destroyed the Heart of the Universe and created The Zone, he slowly lost his purpose and his hope. But now, Leo, Bubbles, and Tank have helped him remember what it means to be a StarKeeper, and he’s back in action!

Dr. Disco
When Rattiform attempted to turn everyone in the whole universe into robots, it actually worked on Dr. Disco… kind of. Half of his body was turned into a robot, and now this cyborg is just a little bit crazy. He even has a sock puppet named Steve, who is an even bigger troublemaker than Disco himself!
