FAQs

Yes, we provide a weekly stipend to support you during your apprenticeship. We want to invest in your calling as you invest in the church, helping with living expenses while you focus on your craft.

The program lasts for five months and is offered twice a year in the fall and spring semesters.

This program is entirely in-person, requiring your presence at various Elevation Church locations. Most days you will office out of our Matthews location.

The Creative Ministry Apprenticeship is more intensive and focused on developing specific creative skills. You’ll work on high-impact projects, receive mentorship, and build a portfolio that demonstrates your expertise and growth.

Absolutely. You’ll work on real projects that allow you to develop a desirable portfolio. Whether you’re creating graphics for various church ministries, producing videos, or writing compelling content, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to showcase your skills.

Yes, housing is available. Having a car is essential for commuting between campuses. Local participants can stay in our housing, but it's not required.

The program is open to young adults ages 18-25 in the United States who are passionate about their craft and ready to serve in ministry. We encourage you to apply if you want to grow your skills and make an impact.

Due to the program’s demands, we ask that applicants entirely focus on their apprenticeship and not work an additional job. The schedule may include late hours and last-minute needs that could conflict with other jobs.

Unlike most church jobs, during the Creative Ministry Apprenticeship – you’ll get paid to learn, grow, and serve with purpose. You’ll receive personalized mentorship from experienced creatives while working on projects that align with your passion – whether that’s videography, design, social media, or writing. It’s a unique opportunity to get hands-on experience, build your portfolio, and make an impact while getting the support and guidance you need to excel.

You’ll learn videography techniques, graphic design principles, effective writing styles, and social media management strategies. Whether you want to learn how to write, create impactful graphics, or become a social media manager, there’s an apprenticeship track for you.

You don’t have to be an expert, but you should definitely know your way around your craft. Whether it’s filming, designing, writing, or managing social media, we’re looking for people who already have some skills and want to level up. If you’re confident in your abilities and ready to learn from experienced mentors, this is the place to grow.
