Have Questions?

Here’s some answers to help you get started.

The average eGroup size is 8-12 people, but every eGroup is different. We recommend a ratio of 10:1 (members to leader), keeping in mind the number of people you can accommodate and effectively care for.

You’ll have the opportunity to choose where your eGroup meets, keeping in mind what you want to accomplish. Whether you meet at a restaurant, a basketball court, on Zoom, or in your living room, you can create an environment of connection.

There’s no set formula! You’re given the opportunity to plan each meeting out however you would like. Some eGroups will include social time or worship, others dive right into discussion, but they last about an hour to an hour and a half on average.

Most leaders use the Sermon Discussion guide to unpack the weekly sermons and discuss how they apply to our lives. However, you do have the flexibility to choose from a list of curriculums. If you choose a study that requires a leader guide, those costs are covered for you.

Youth eGroup Leaders are also resourced with the YTH Catalog, which provides monthly topics, discussion questions, supporting videos, readings, and additional resources.

If you don’t know an answer to a question, it’s ok! We don’t expect you to know everything. Your campus staff are a resource for you and are happy to connect about anything you need help answering.

The goal of eGroups is to create personal connections and activate faith. It’s hard to put a time frame on that! Some people lead for a few months, and some lead for years. Connect with your eGroup Director to decide what’s best for you.

For those leading Youth eGroups, there is a full school calendar year commitment.

We’re always on the lookout for new leaders and you’re our best recruiter! If someone in your eGroup wants to lead, connect with your Care Team Leader or eGroups Director.

You’ll decide what day you meet and how often; just know that consistency is key! eGroups typically meet on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. If you need help deciding what works best, your eGroup Director or Care Team Leader are available to assist.

We believe God can use even the darkest parts of our past to help someone else in their pursuit of Christ. Your eGroup Director is the perfect person to share with as you navigate the eGroup Leader process.
