Sermon Highlights
When you face a setback, prayer is a good place to start
When the setback comes, you get to choose what is on the other side
The setback will cause you to either lean in or shrink away
Prayer brings you into agreement with God. There is power in agreement.
Break the agreement with the enemy’s lies and come into agreement with the Word of God.
Reframe, “God, why are you doing this to me?” with, “What is God wanting to do for me?”
Don’t go with what you see; go with what God said
Don’t seek to escape; seek God’s deliverance

Pastor Daniel Floyd mentioned he’s more of a ‘college football guy’ than an ‘art guy.’ If you were going on vacation, would you go for sports, museums, or a mixture of both? (bonus: Where would you go for this vacation?)

Prayer Prompt
Ask this question to your eGroup and include it as part of your closing prayer:
Pastor Daniel Floyd said, “Reframe, ‘God, why are you doing this to me?’ with, ‘What is God wanting to do for me?’” What setbacks do you need to reframe in your life right now?
Pray that God would give each of us His peace, strength, and guidance in the midst of our setbacks. Also, pray that He would help us to focus on what God wants to do for us and through us in the setback. Ask that we would remember His faithfulness, agree with His truth, and trust that He is in control, even when setbacks happen.
