Are you curious about what God has for your life? The Elevation Church Internship is your chance to be part of something bigger. You’ll learn about Elevation’s unique culture and mission while deepening your faith, developing your leadership, and serving with a passionate team. Whether you love graphic design, leading teams, or greeting on a Sunday, this internship will equip you to serve God and others like never before.

Creative

Tap into your creative side. Our Creative interns assist our team with graphics, video production, and writing that help communicate all God is doing. They’re part of a team that’s sending the gospel worldwide.

Administration

If organization is your thing, this might be where you belong. As an Administration intern, you’d support key projects, prep for creative shoots, coordinate events, or ensure smooth operations across the church. Interns with a love for details and spreadsheets help keep everything moving forward.

Technology

Bring your problem-solving skills to our tech teams. Technology interns help manage databases, troubleshoot issues, or support the tech needs of our campuses. Behind the scenes, they ensure everything runs smoothly so our ministry can thrive.

Campus Leadership

Lead with purpose. As a Campus Leadership intern, you’d help guide volunteer teams, connect with kids and youth, or set up campus events. This could be your chance to inspire others and create environments where people experience God’s presence.

Find your community

This journey is about connection—forming relationships that will shape your faith and leadership. As an intern, you’ll build meaningful connections with fellow interns, staff, and church members who will support you along the way. Through one-on-one mentorship, you’ll also be encouraged to refine your gifts and step outside your comfort zone.

Experience ministry up close

Engage in Elevation culture teachings, sermons, and internal staff teachings from Pastor Steven to deepen your understanding of living out the church’s mission. Along the way, you’ll experience ministry up close by stepping into real-world outreach and behind-the-scenes work. Serve your community alongside Elevation’s outreach partners and experience how God is moving through His church.

Here are a few things you can expect as an Elevation intern.

Payment

As an intern, you will receive a weekly stipend of $250 to offset living expenses such as gas, food, etc.

School credit

School credit is available for those who are interested. We will partner with your school to try to meet any requirements.

Housing

Free housing is available for those who live outside of the Charlotte area.

Transportation

Most of your responsibilities will require a reliable form of transportation, making a license and car mandatory for your internship.

Eligibility

The Elevation Internship Program is open to young adults ages 18-25 who currently reside in the United States.

Work

Due to the nature of the Elevation Intern Program, we ask that applicants not work an additional job while in the program.

Every day brings something new. You’ll work on projects within your department, attend team meetings, and participate in intern-specific activities like leadership training and community outreach.

This is a full-time experience, so expect a flexible schedule with a mix of weekday work, weekend services, and special events. You’ll be deeply involved in both the church and intern activities.

Due to the program’s demands, we ask that applicants entirely focus on their internship and not work an additional job. The schedule may include late hours and last-minute needs that could conflict with other jobs.

Nope! You don’t need to attend Elevation to apply. However, during the internship, you’ll attend Elevation regularly to immerse yourself in the culture and ministry experience. We welcome anyone passionate about ministry and excited to serve.

Yes, we provide a weekly stipend to support you during your internship. We want to help with living expenses while you discover your calling.

It depends on the semester! The Summer internship runs for 12 weeks, while the Fall and Spring semesters are 15 weeks. We’ll make sure you’re ready for the experience, no matter your choice!

Yes, we ask that you commit to the duration of the internship to get the whole experience. It’s a packed three months, and every moment helps you grow!

Yes, we cover 100% of your housing and utilities. Having a car is essential for commuting between campuses.

The Elevation Internship Program is open to young adults ages 18-25. While the Internship Program is currently only available to residents of the United States, we invite you to fill out this application for International Consideration.
