Promotion Sunday :: June 14

Promotion Sunday on June 14 is a special milestone as kids and students move into their next ministry environment — from Preschool to Elementary and from Elementary into YTH. But it’s more than a transition! It’s also an opportunity to trust God with who your child is becoming. And we’re honored to walk alongside your family through every season.

While seasons like this are exciting, they can also bring questions for parents: Is my child ready? Am I ready?

Here’s the good news: God is already ahead of you.

The same God who has been faithful in every season of your child’s life will continue leading them into what’s next.

“Be strong and courageous […] for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”  (Joshua 1:9)

What To Expect

Rising Elementary Kids 

Your child will move into the Elementary environment, where there’s worship, games, teaching, and small groups designed just for their age group.

A few ways to help prepare:

• Talk positively about the transition

• Arrive early to help them feel comfortable

• Check out the eKidz YouTube page beforehand to view some Elementary clips, such as Sword Drills and the Bible Story. (For example, you can watch an Elementary Bible Story here.)

Rising YTH 

Moving into YTH is a big step as students begin building deeper faith, friendships, and community in a space created just for middle and high school students.

You can help get them ready!

• Discuss what they’re excited or nervous about

• Encourage them to connect with your campus YTH Director

• Attend YTH Nights in June and YTHX (our summer camp) in July
