December Overview: Throughout Scripture, God points towards a Savior who will restore our relationship with Him. This month, kids will learn the very best news there is: God sent Jesus to save us from our sins!

Scripture: Luke 1:26-38; Matthew 1:18-25 (Gabriel Tells Mary the Good News)
Focus: The angel Gabriel told Mary she would have a baby named Jesus, and Mary trusted God’s plan.
Bottom Line: I can trust God’s plan.
Application: I can choose to trust God, even when I don’t understand His plan.
In this week’s lesson, kids will learn how Mary showed faith when God asked her to do something incredible. God’s plan for her life was bigger than she could imagine, and through her obedience, Jesus, the Savior of the world, was born.

🕰 Engage in everyday moments together this week:
Morning Time: While your child is getting ready, remind them, “God has a good plan for you, and you can trust Him!”
Mealtime: Talk about a time your family had to trust God’s plan, even when it was hard to see how things would work out.
Drive Time: Point out something in nature that reminds you of God’s creativity and His plan.
Bedtime: Pray, “God, thank You for always having a good plan for us. Help us trust You like Mary did.”
