December Overview: Throughout Scripture, God points towards a Savior who will restore our relationship with Him. This month, kids will learn the very best news there is: God sent Jesus to save us from our sins!

Scripture: Matthew 2:1-12 (The Wise Men Visit Jesus)
Focus: The wise men traveled far to worship Jesus, showing us that following Jesus is worth it.
Bottom Line: I can choose to follow Jesus.
Application: I can follow Jesus by giving Him my best and choosing to worship Him every day.
In this week’s lesson, kids will learn how the wise men followed the star to find Jesus and worship Him. Their journey reminds us that following Jesus is always worth it — and we can show our love for Him through obedience, worship, and generosity.

Morning Time: Encourage your child, “You can choose to follow Jesus today in everything you do!”
Mealtime: Talk about what it means to give Jesus your best — time, kindness, attention, or gratitude.
Drive Time: Look at the stars together, and talk about how the star led the wise men to Jesus.
Bedtime: Pray, “God, thank You for sending Jesus. Help us follow Him with all our hearts.”
