Scripture: Mark 10:13-16 (Jesus Welcomes the Children)
Focus: Jesus welcomed children and showed them they matter deeply to God.
Bottom Line: Jesus shows love by welcoming everyone.
Application: I can welcome others because Jesus welcomes me.
In this week’s lesson, kids will hear the story of Jesus welcoming the children, which surprised people who thought they weren’t important enough. Jesus stopped, invited them close, and showed that every child matters to God. This story reminds kids that God’s love isn’t earned or limited — it’s given freely. When children understand that Jesus welcomes them just as they are, it helps them show that same love and kindness to others.
