January Overview: The Bible is full of truth, showing us things like how much God loves us and what He wants for us. There is so much in it we can learn to help us live for Him!

Scripture: Luke 2:41-52 (Young Jesus at the Temple)
Focus: Even as a kid, Jesus valued the scriptures. He listened, asked questions, and grew in wisdom.
Bottom Line: The Bible helps me grow in wisdom.
Application: I can learn from God’s Word so I can make wise choices.
In this week’s lesson, kids will hear the story of young Jesus choosing to stay in the temple to learn from God’s Word. He shows us that growing in wisdom starts with listening to scripture, asking questions, and staying close to God. When kids spend time learning the Bible, it helps them make choices that honor God in their everyday lives.

When You Lie Down: Pray, “God, thank You for Your Word. Help us grow wiser as we learn from it.”
