June Overview: Summer is full of adventure, and sometimes adventure feels uncertain. Throughout this series, kids are learning that no matter what they face — fear, sadness, doubt, or loneliness — God is faithful. We may not always know what’s ahead, but we can trust the One who does. God’s got this!

Bible Story: Moses (Exodus 3, 4:1-12)
Main Point: When I’m stuck, I can trust God.
Memory Verse: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” Proverbs 3:5 (NIV)

As a family, read the Bible story together. Then, watch this week’s lesson video on the eKidz Online YouTube page to continue the conversation.

This week, kids learned about Moses, who felt stuck when God asked him to do something really hard. But God reminded Moses He would help him every step of the way. This story shows us that trusting God when we feel stuck doesn’t mean we have everything figured out. It means relying on God’s help instead of our own strength and choosing to take the next step, even when we don’t feel ready.

💬 Family discussion questions:

  1. Why do you think Moses felt stuck?

  2. What did God promise Moses?

  3. Where is a place you feel stuck right now, or what’s something hard you’re not sure you can do? How can you trust God to help you?

🕰 Engage in everyday moments together this week:

  • When You Get Up: Tell your kid, “Even if something feels hard today, God will help you — you can trust Him.”

  • While You’re At Home: Talk about a time when you had to do something hard and how God helped you.

  • As You’re On The Way: Ask, “When you feel stuck, how can you remind yourself to trust God?”

  • When You Lie Down: Pray, “God, thank You that You help us when things feel hard. Help us trust You and take the next step, even when we don’t feel ready. We love You. In Jesus’ name we pray, amen.”
