What We Are Learning In Preschool :: November Week 1
November Overview: This month, preschoolers will learn God is generous and gives us good things because He loves us. He teaches us we can be generous too by sharing what we have with others. Whether it’s our money, food, help, or things, we can share what God has given us to do good and care for others.
Bible Story: Materials For The Tabernacle (Exodus 35:4-29)
Main Point: I can share what God gives me.
Memory Verse: “Do not forget to do good and to share with others.” Hebrews 13:16
As a family, read the Bible story together. Then, watch this week’s lesson video on the eKidz Online YouTube page to continue the conversation.
This week, children learned God’s people were building the tabernacle, a special place where they could worship God. God had given His people many good things, and when it was time to build the tabernacle, they gladly brought what they had to help! Because God is generous and gives us good things, we can be generous and share what God gives us too.
💬 Family discussion questions:
What happened in today’s Bible story?
What did God’s people bring to help build the tabernacle? How did they share what God had given them?
What is something God has given you that you could share with someone else?
🕰 Engage in everyday moments together this week:
When You Get Up: Ask, “What is something God has given you that you’re thankful for?” Remind your child, “God gives us good things, and we can share what He gives us!”
While You’re At Home: Look around your home together, and name things God has given your family. Choose one thing your child can share with someone else today.
As You’re On The Way: Play “Could You Share It?” Name things like crayons, a snack, a toy, or a book. Have your child answer, “I can share it!”
When You Lie Down: Ask, “What did God give you today? Did you get to share anything with someone?” Thank God together for the good things He gives you, and ask Him to help you share with others.
