What We Are Learning In Preschool :: October Week 1
October Overview: This month, preschoolers will learn God is good all the time. Because God is good, we can always say, "Thank You!" Thankfulness is more than words — it's a way to respond to God's goodness.
Bible Story: The 10 Lepers (Luke 17:11-19)
Main Point: Because God is good, I can say thank You.
Memory Verse: "Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever." Psalm 107:1

Jesus healed 10 men who were sick, but only one came back to thank Him. He stopped and remembered what Jesus had done for him! We can stop and remember the good things God has done for us too. Because God is good, we can say, "Thank You!"

🕰 Engage in everyday moments together this week:
When You Get Up: Before you start your day, name one thing you're thankful for. Say, "God is good! Thank You, God, for _____!"
While You’re At Home: Look for someone in your family doing something kind or helpful. Encourage your child to stop and say, "Thank you!"
As You’re On The Way: Take turns pointing out good things God has given you as you travel. When someone spots something, say together, "Thank You, God!"
When You Lie Down: Talk about your child's day and ask, "What was something good about today?" Thank God together for what they share.
