What We Are Learning In Preschool :: October Week 3
October Overview: This month, preschoolers will learn God is good all the time. Because God is good, we can always say, "Thank You!" Thankfulness is more than words — it's a way to respond to God's goodness.
Bible Story: Isaiah’s Commission ( Isaiah 6:1-8)
Main Point: Because God is good, I can help others.
Memory Verse: "Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever." Psalm 107:1

This week, children learned God showed Isaiah how amazing and powerful He is. Then, when God needed someone to go and tell others about Him, Isaiah was ready to help! He said, “Here I am. Send me!” Isaiah knew God is good, and he wanted to serve Him. Because God is good, we can be ready to help others too.

What happened in today’s Bible story?
What did Isaiah see in the special vision God showed him? What did Isaiah say when God needed someone to go? (“Here I am. Send me!”)
Who is someone you could help this week? How could you help them?
🕰 Engage in everyday moments together this week:
When You Get Up: Ask, “Who could you help today?” Think of one person together and one simple way your child could help them.
While You’re At Home: Look for a job your child can help with, like putting away toys or carrying something. Before they help, encourage them to raise their hand and say, “Here I am! I can help!”
As You’re On The Way: Play “Who Could We Help?” Name familiar people — like a friend, teacher, neighbor, or family member — and take turns thinking of ways you could help them.
When You Lie Down: Ask, “Did you see anyone who needed help today? What did you do?” Celebrate how they helped or talk about what they could do next time. Then, thank God for helping your family care for others.
