YTH Night (March 4) - Listening & Doing

We live in a reaction-first world. Quick post, quick replies, and quick opinions. This week, at YTH Night, we talked about how God’s word is like a mirror. It shows us what’s really going on inside — our attitudes, our choices, even the way we respond to others. 

But a mirror isn’t meant to simply reveal something and send us on our way unchanged. It invites us to pause, pay attention, and make adjustments.

James reminds us that change begins when we listen to God’s Word and put it into action. When we allow what God shows us to shape how we live, that’s when real growth happens.

Talk It Over:

• What does a mirror show you? How is God’s Word similar?

• What’s one small way you can do what you’ve read in God’s Word this week? (e.g., at school, online, at home, etc.)

Pray: God, help us not just hear Your Word but do what it says. Shape our actions to reflect You. In Jesus’ name, amen.
