Begin With Amen
Pastor Steven Furtick
Sermon Summary
There are seasons and situations we write off — God could never use that. But Jesus already knew about it when He found you, and He’s got a plan to redeem it. You might be wondering how, because you can’t see it yet. This sermon is an invitation to believe. If you want to know what God can do through your life, follow and find out.
Sermon Highlights
When you’re seeking something, and you find it, you’re done. When you’re seeking someone, and you find them, you go deeper.
You have to follow to find out.
Jesus does not call you to figure it out. He calls you to follow.
Sometimes, you have to see it to believe, but other times, you have to believe it to see it.
God is bigger than your background.
Not Nazareth. Put whatever in the blank you think God can’t use. He will dwell in what you despise.
It would be a shame to let the shame of where you came from keep you from seeing the glory of who you came from.
If God says something good can come of this, then Amen.
God doesn’t see messed up. He sees a miracle.
When Jesus speaks, He doesn’t wait to see if you agree. It is final, finished, and settled.
Jesus knows the worst of me, but He sees the best in me.
I didn’t find Him. He found me.

Prayer Prompt
Ask your eGroup if they have any prayer requests or praise reports they’d like to share, and include them in your closing prayer.
Pray this prayer over your eGroup to close, and/or send it to them throughout the week to let them know you’re praying for them!
Dear God, we begin with Amen. We say amen over the areas of our lives that we don’t yet understand. We believe that we’ll see Your goodness. This week, instead of seeking other things, we’re choosing to “See King Jesus.” We acknowledge your greatness and thank you for finding us and holding us through every season. We believe we’ll see Your provision and power as we follow You. Amen.
