Conversation Starters

Looking for a way to get the group talking? Try one of these conversation starters.

  • “God has done big things for me!” What’s the last big thing God did for you? (Ex. He woke you up this morning.)

  • “He is the God of the details.” What’s one thing you’re thankful for this week?

Sermon Reflection

Help transition the group to the discussion with one of these questions.

  • What stood out to you from this week’s message?

  • What part of the message encouraged/challenged you the most?

Sermon Discussion

Select 1-2 themes from the sermon to discuss with your eGroup.

  • Read Leviticus 11:45. God brought His people out of Egypt to deliver them into a land that He promised them. This week, Pastor Steven reminded us that God brought us out of dark places to give us new hearts, minds, and attitudes.

    • What are some challenges people face when going through tough seasons?

    • Share a hard place that God brought you out of and some of the lessons you learned there.

    • What’s one practical step you can take to renew your focus and step into the peace God has given you?

This week, we were reminded that even though we are saved by Jesus, we can still feel conflicted. The enemy is like a weasel that tries to catch us in a pattern of doubt.

  • What challenges can you face while trying to break negative habits or patterns?

  • Name some areas that you’re grateful God is helping you work through.

  • What can you do to break negative patterns and experience the peace of God?

Leviticus 11 reminds us that we are taught through a process where God helps us shift the way we think, feel, and act. This helps us to become who He has created us to be.

  • Share a difficult moment that taught you a valuable lesson.

  • What’s God teaching you right now that’s helping you step into who He’s called you to be? How can we pray for you as you walk through this season of growth?

  • What are somethings that can challenge our ability to trust God through tough processes?

Activating Faith

Challenge your group to keep activating their faith. Make this a part of your eGroup time or send this activity to them after you meet.Greater things are still to come! Read Leviticus 11:37. Think about the things you’re believing God for. Pastor Steven reminded us that God has given us the potential to make a difference. Write down one way you want to see God move through you.

Prayer

Close out your group with prayer using one of these options:

  • An Interactive Prayer

    • Ask each eGroup member to share one thing they’re believing God for. Then come together to pray for each other.

  • A Guided Prayer

    • God, thank you for your resurrection power. Renew our belief that greater things are still to come. Show us how to shift our thoughts and order our steps this week so that we can walk into the promises you have for us. We give you all the glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
